Although I’ve written for as long as I can remember, I didn’t get serious about it until a year ago. She was influenced by the humble life her Dad's family lived in North Louisiana during the Depression and the cultural influences of the South, from her mother's family, who lived in Charleston, SC and Winston-Salem, NC.
