I was
born in Los Angeles and spent my early years in southern California. Moving
to Albuquerque at age 11 with my mother and sister, I grew up with the
unconditional love, morals and values of my grandfather. He was the greatest
man I ever knew and I try to apply his teachings to my life today.
I grew
up around country music, listening to Roger Miller, Buck Owens, Ferlin
Husky, Faron Young, Ray Price, Chet Atkins.
Although I’ve written for as long as I can remember, I didn’t get serious
about it until a year ago. My influences today include Dwight Yoakam, Alan
Jackson, the Bakersfield sound, and Kentucky bluegrass.
